November 10, 2019
Hello and welcome to your latest Next Week at Key. Here’s what you need to know for the four-day week ahead.
Harvest Festival November 17
The Harvest Festival is Sunday, November 17, from 12 to 4 pm! We will have live music, face painters, a moon bounce, slide, popcorn, prizes, games, and the best haunted house you have even been through, complete with Stranger Things! If you haven’t already signed up for your class’s Harvest Fest booth, it’s not too late. Contact your class parents if you can’t find the sign-up link in your class emails. We appreciate your help to make the event a success. Thank you!
HARVEST FESTIVAL PUNCH CARDS FOR SALE: The pre-sale punch cards for Harvest Festival activities will be sold at drop off and on the blacktop after school this week for $15. Price for punch cards sold the day of the event are $20.
USED BOOK SALE: We need your gently used books, videos, and video games for the popular used book sale at the Harvest Festival. All items can be left in the front lobby in the large boxes provided. We especially need books for older kids and series books like Magic Tree House, as well as books for adults. Questions? Email Katie Thompson at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
HARVEST FESTIVAL HAUNTED HOUSE! The Haunted House is our main attraction. Construction begins Friday, Nov. 15, at 3:30pm. WE NEED YOUR HELP! CLEAN UP: This is one of the most important tasks of the whole festival! We need as many people as possible to make sure everything is clean and safe for our students to return to their beautiful new playground the next day.

Grounds Clean Up Sunday November 24th, 9am – 1pm
Grounds cleanup happens twice a year. It’s remarkable what two days a year can do to make the Key grounds beautiful for our kids and the Key School staff. The fall clean-up is Sunday, November 24th from 9 am to 1 pm. Mark off an hour or half hour of your time, and bring your rakes, gloves, and leaf blowers. A pizza party with popsicles will be awarded to the classroom with the most volunteers who work 2 or more hours!
